Business Simulation based Screening
1000+ MBA students would undergo a rigorous screening procedure.
The stage 1 of selection of suitable profiles will be done through a Business Simulation challenge. Participants in this round will undergo a head to head competition amongst themselves on an internationally recognized, tried and tested business simulation platform. In this type of competition, they will take charge of a given virtual company and steer it towards maximum profitability and share holder value through careful and critical strategic decisions in a dynamic and uncertain business environment. The initial screening round will be carried out in the following formats:
Intra-Institutional simulation competitions organized at top B-schools of the country
20 B-Schools throughout the country will be selected for this phase of the event where candidates will be screened based on business acumen, decision making skills and management abilities.
Open Mega Online Business Simulation Challenge - 7th January 2013
The Open Mega Online Business Simulation Competition, with IIM A Confluence 2012, is a platform where willing applicants from all across the country will be invited to participate.

Requirements for Participation:
- Through Downloaded Software:
- Atleast 1 Laptop / Desktop per Participant
- Smooth Internet Connectivity for the Multiplayer Competition
- If using Institute computer Lab / Wifi / Institute LAN (Open Ports 80 and 3150)
- Preinstalled Simulation software on the Laptop / Desktop. Installation File Link: BUSINESS SIMULATION SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD
- Through Web Login:
- Atleast 1 Laptop / Desktop per Participant
- Smooth Internet Connectivity for the Multiplayer Competition
- Latest versions of Mozilla / Google Chrome / Safari Internet Browsers installed.
Business Simulation to be used for the Competition will be MikesBikes Intro. To experience and practice the business simulation software, download a copy from the Downloads page.
Registered participants will be provided with a unique login ID / Password which will enable them to login into the simulation software to play from their respective PCs. Participants will be judged on the basis of SHV or Share Holder Value at the end of the game.

Online Mandatory Psychometric Test
In the next leg of the activity, Candidates shortlisted from the 1st stage through business simulation would undergo a thorough personality assessment and evaluation through an online psychometric test. These tests include a wide array of evaluation tools that measure one's knowledge, abilities and personality.
Each shortlisted participant will be given a 2 day window for the psychometric test. Incomplete test will be considered as a ground for disqualification.
Guidelines to Psychometric Test
Step 1: Email address of the shortlisted candidates would be individually confirmed by our recruitment team through a phone call.
Step 2: On confirmation of email address, shortlisted candidates will receive an email containing
- A Link leading to the Psychometric Test page.
- Individual Login IDs / passwords to initiate the Psychometric Test.
The psychometric profiling Test must be strictly attempted and completed by the shortlisted candidate between the dates given in the table below. A failure to do so would automatically lead to termination of their nomination from the recruitment process.
Dates of the 1st batch of Psychometric Test to be announced between 24th - 28th Dec 2012

Candidates shortlisted from the psychometric test will be eligible to appear for the final round at Trident plant in Ludhiana, Barnala.

Business Simulation Grand Finals at Trident Premises - Barnala
Shortlisted students from the 1st and 2nd stage will be invited to the Trident premises where the final simulation based round would be carried out. Students would be exposed to the simulation software but with tougher predefined parameters.
Students would be scrutinized on, along with the factors in the 1st Stage of the activity, various key skills that are essential to the selection criteria of Trident Group. This would be the decisive round from which candidates for the final interview shall be selected.
This would be followed by the declaration of results and prize distribution.

Personal Interview & Offer Letter
The final interview will be carried out by Trident Group amongst the selected student.
After the Personal Interviews Stage, this round entails declaration of results of the finally selected candidates for Placements along with the offer and acceptance of the same.
